Where did the idea come from for the book?
An image of two people in a classroom popped into my head.

What genre does your book fall under?
Teen/Young Adult

What actors would you choose to play the part of your characters in a movie rendition?
I haven’t thought about that.

What is the one sentence synopsis of your book?
The fate of a magical kingdom rests on whether Cassie can find a missing book.

Will your book be self-published or represented by an agency?
Hopefully represented by an agency

How long did it take you to write the first draft of the manuscript?.
About 5 months

What other books would you compare this to within your genre?
Graceling but less violence.

Who or what inspired you to write this book?
Just needed to get the image out of my head.

What else about the book might pique the reader’s interest?
Hopefully characters they will believe in both human, endowed with magic,elvish or an ancient treeman.
